Worked on a few patches2009-12-302 / 5
I used patch attach on a couple of sweatshirts and the patches did remain glued on through several washs. Unfornately most of the patches just start to fall off and get worse with every wash.
Wow...it actually works.2009-08-264 / 5
So I bought this stuff at a fabric store looking for an alternative to sewing a bunch of band patches onto my denim jacket...and must admit that I didn't have much hope for it.
So I followed the instructions on the back....and I got nothing. The patch didn't stick...it only dried the glue into a crusty powder. Amazing.
I decided to give it one more try using the instruction variations that fellow reviewer "Robert Mccloskey" said worked for him.
It actually does work. My hat's off to him, I don't know how he came up with his variations...but if you do hold an iron over a wash cloth with the patch under it for a a minute and thirty seconds...it generally sets the patch. Like he said, wait for it to cool...and then hold an iron directly on the patch for 30 seconds, and once that cools, iron the under-side of the fabric where the patch now lies.
It works.
I'm amazed.
I gave it 4 stars because I think it's pretty stupid that the company that made the product doesn't know how to use it...but a customer had to figure it out on his own. Thanks Mccloskey.
It's a much better alternative than spending $70+ at an alterations place.
Patch Attach Works Great For Me!2008-09-185 / 5
I struggled with this product the first couple of times I used it, but ultimately I have found this to be an EXCELLENT product. Our Isshinryu school requires a very large patch on the front of the uniform, with smaller patches on each shoulder and lower front of gi. I have used this product successfully on four of my own gi's which get VERY sweaty and are frequently washed, and both of my children's uniforms as well. I have also attached all of my son's Royal Rangers scout group patches and badges to his uniform with great success. The oldest karate gi with patch attach is five years old now, and the patches are still holding strong! Here's a suggestion: Follow the directions, use a pre-heated iron on a linnen setting. Apply the heat for about a minute and a half through a wash cloth over the patch. Carefully remove the wash clothe and let the patch cool. Apply the heat again without the washcloth for another 30 seconds and let cool again. Turn garment inside out and apply heat to the back of the patch directly through the opposite side of the garment for another 30 seconds. This method has worked for me EVERY time.

Name should be "Does not Attach Patch"
Horrible, useless, dirt would work better than this product.
Chewing gum would certainly be an upgrade as well...dont waste your money because it doesnt work.
How do you say.......gimmick??!!2008-05-051 / 5
I used Patch Attach on a large patch that was being affixed to a large, clean, dry area of cotton canvas. This is the perfect recipe for the stuff to work. I followed the directions to the point. When it was all said and done I think this stuff is nothing more than white school glue. Don't waste your money.
